NCDC Head says gov't discussing large-scale restrictive measures for Tbilisi

The head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), Amiran Gamkrelidze, said the government is discussing large-scale restrictive measures for Tbilisi.

Gamkrelidze noted that the decision on the restrictions will be made on October 12, at the meeting of the Coordinating Council on coronavirus.

Speaking of possible virus-related restrictions, Deputy Head of NCDC, Paata Imnadze, stressed that the business sector should follow the recommendations issued by the Health Ministry. “It is simple: a face mask, social distance, hand hygiene,” said Imnadze.
