Hungarian PM says PM Kobakhidze manages to preserve Georgia's national identity and culture despite challenges

Irakli Kobakhidze is the Prime Minister of Georgia, who, despite all the challenges, manages to preserve the national identity and culture in his country, said the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC Hungary 2024).

The Prime Minister of Hungary thanked the Head of the Government of Georgia.

“I would like to greet the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze. He is the head of government who is considered the great chess player in Georgian politics. It is not surprising because, in the centuries-old history of Georgia, chess is a geopolitical game. Despite all the challenges, the power to preserve the national identity and culture in the country is truly the skill of a chess player, a grandmaster. Mr. Prime Minister, we thank you for being with us and wish you success,” said Viktor Orban.
