PM refused to comment on President's political statements not to demean Georgian army; oath-breaking and betrayal to be accountable to God

“I intentionally did not refer to the previous speaker in my opening remarks. I won’t allow myself to demean the Georgian army by responding to her political statements,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the Georgian Defence Forces.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, everyone will be accountable before God for breaking the oath and the Constitution and betraying the country.

“I intentionally did not refer to the previous speaker in my opening remarks. I won’t allow myself to demean the Georgian army by responding to her political statements, which were unsuitable for this day and high post of the President. Everyone will be accountable before God for breaking the oath and Constitution and betraying the country,” he said.

President Salome Zourabichvili delivered her speech before PM Kobakhidze took the floor at the 33rd anniversary of the Georgian Defence Forces.
