Head of NCDC: If Armenian Centers for Disease Control and Prevention asks for help, we are ready to assist

“If Armenian Centers for Disease Control and Prevention applies to National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia (NCDC) for help, we are ready to assist within our competence, said Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of NCDC.

As Amiran Gamkrelidze noted, “Georgia and Armenia are brotherly nations and always support each other.”

“There was a little misunderstanding a week ago. We are brotherly nations, we have always supported each other and we have a good relationship with the National Center for Disease Control in Armenia.

If need be, the Armenian Ministry of Health should raise this issue, and then I am sure Georgia will gladly accept it,” Gamkrelidze said.
