The grand final of the ninth season of Ranina took place on the GPB First Channel, where 9-year-old Davit Lomidze was crowned the winner of the popular children’s music competition. As part of his victory, Lomidze will represent Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
The final featured three contestants: David Lomidze, Liliana Chachanidze, and Giorgi Naskidashvili. During the final round, they performed well-known compositions by Revaz Lagidze, with musical arrangements created by maestro Zviad Bolkvadze.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place in Malta on October 24, where Georgia’s representative will compete against young performers from across Europe and beyond.
