Those who fiercely oppose the implementation of the Eagle Hills project in Georgia find the country’s economic development “unacceptable,” Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili stated.

According to her, an extensive disinformation campaign is being waged to undermine the initiative.

“The assessment is simple: anything that contributes to the economic development of our country irritates these people, and they oppose everything. This project represents an unprecedented investment that reflects both the progress already achieved and the future prospects for Georgia’s economic growth. This is exactly what is unacceptable to those who are fighting so hard against the implementation of the Eagle Hills project.

The project is significant for Georgia, creates additional jobs, and in fact, has no negative side, while its opponents are trying to cast a shadow over it with countless disinformation campaigns,” Botchorishvili said.
