Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili spoke to the media about the importance of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s visit to Kyrgyzstan.

According to Botchorishvili, the visit will include high-level meetings during which cooperation in various fields will be discussed.

“The visit to Kyrgyzstan will feature high-level meetings at the prime ministerial level. It is important because it will provide an opportunity to discuss cooperation in various areas. A meeting of the Economic Commission will also be held as part of the visit, which is significant given the dynamic development of economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. It is important that the issues currently on the agenda of bilateral economic relations are discussed within the commission.

I will also meet with my counterpart. Cooperation with Kyrgyzstan within international organizations is, of course, important, and we have a number of significant issues to discuss in this regard. The visit also provides a good opportunity to discuss cooperation in the international arena, both in bilateral and multilateral formats,” said Maka Botchorishvili.

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze is on an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. He traveled to Bishkek accompanied by a delegation that includes Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
