FM Botchorishvili: Georgia and Armenia have best relations, broad cooperation continues
“We expect that in the near future, once the election process is completed and the government is formed, we will resume intensive contact and cooperation with Armenian counterparts,” Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said.
According to Botchorishvili, Georgia and Armenia currently maintain the best relations.
“We congratulate the winners of the recent elections. The Prime Minister also extended his congratulations to Nikol Pashinyan on this achievement. Our primary focus is on ensuring stability in our neighboring country and fostering the steady development of our relations. Currently, Georgia and Armenia enjoy excellent relations. We collaborate in various areas, including topics that are prominent on Armenia’s agenda, such as its relations with the United States and the European Union. This collaboration reflects the stance of the Armenian government and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who views coordination and relations with Georgia as significant within the framework of these partnerships. We look forward to re-establishing intensive contact and cooperation with our Armenian counterparts once the election process concludes and the government is formed. This collaboration is crucial for both countries, and we will continue to work together on all key issues of mutual interest,” Botchorishvili said.
