Gakharia for Georgia's Khvedeliani: We fight to reduce GD's large number of voters

“Against the backdrop of any hysteria that different parties are organizing, we are still in this fight, and we are fighting for voters’ votes. We are fighting to reduce Georgian Dream’s large number of voters,” stated Tata Khvedeliani, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

Khvedeliani’s remark comes after the CEC published a list of political unions requesting retention of electoral numbers for the October 4 municipal elections.

“If they don’t need to participate in elections, why did they submit applications? There can be no talk here about repeat elections or 2028 elections, given that these people constantly say that in this situation, elections are not an instrument to change anything in our country.

We have not received any plan or information from pro-boycott parties to this day regarding this matter. We don’t know at all what they are planning. The main thing in this process is very interesting – currently, Georgian Dream’s and National Movement’s positions match each other the most,” Khvedeliani declared.
