Deputy Foreign Minister meets with OSCE Secretary General, Swiss Foreign Minister, and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary
On the margins of the Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) of the OSCE in Vienna, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, held bilateral meetings with the Secretary General of the OSCE, Feridun Sinirlioğlu; the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis; and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America, Sonata Coulter.
“During the meetings with Feridun Sinirlioğlu and Ignazio Cassis, discussions focused on various areas of cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE. Key topics included the importance of the Geneva International Discussions (GID) format and the organisation’s role in the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
The parties positively assessed Georgia’s cooperation within the framework of the OSCE. The parties also focused on the regional security environment, ongoing challenges, and ways to address them, as well as the importance of maintaining peace, stability, and security in the region.
