FM Georgia has vast potential to promote partnership in South Caucasus
“We have a sincere interest in contributing to peace and stability in our region,” said Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
According to the FM, a peaceful and safe South Caucasus is a priority for Georgia.
“We admit that our region has vast potential and for full utilization of this potential, we need sustainable and lasting peace in the region. Therefore, we welcome a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We believe that this is a big achievement.
We should point out the traditional and exceptionally good relations that Georgia has with both neighbours – Armenia and Azerbaijan. We have a sincere interest in contributing to peace and stability in our region.
Therefore, we always say and I will reiterate here that Georgia is a place that both Armenia and Azerbaijan can rely on and acknowledge that we ensure all possible means to promote dialogue in our region to pursue cooperation in our region,” she said.
