FM Botchorishvili: European politicians express concern over polarization but spare no effort to further divide Georgian society
Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili believes that statements of European politicians on the selective suspension of visa liberalization are used as political tools and aim to fragment society.
According to Botchorishvili, all this is directed against the interests of Georgia and the Georgian people.
“It is very regrettable that European politicians, on the one hand, express concern over polarization in Georgian society, and, on the other, spare no effort to further divide Georgian society, incite confrontation and use the political tools in their hands for further fragmentation of our society.
Making such statements is directed solely against our society, against our state interests, and is in no way in the interests of either Europe or Georgia,” she said.
