“The Prime Minister’s visit to Kyrgyzstan is historic since it represents the highest-level visit from Georgia in Kyrgyzstan. It is an excellent opportunity to further develop and deepen relations in different areas,” said Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili.

Maka Botchorishvili summed up her meeting with the Kyrgyz colleague and said several agreements were signed to outline a program, which will define Georgia-Kyrgyzstan cooperation in the coming years.

According to the FM, there is vast potential for future cooperation between the two countries, and the parties will continue to work to maximize the existing opportunities.

“There is potential. The Middle Corridor, transport and logistics links, economic and trade relations are of high interest. We should grab these opportunities for the benefit of our country, and we will continue to work with the Kyrgyz side in that direction,” she said.
