According to Gamkrelidze, people have to learn to co-exist with COVID-19. He said that the situation was difficult globally including in the region and in Georgia. Gmkrelidze said that the number of infected people has exceeded 42 million people in the world and the statistics was increasing in Europe.
Gamkrelidze talked about the new cases of coronavirus recorded in Georgia for October 24. “The number of infected people significantly increased in Kvemo Kartli with 107 cases for today. This is connected to a big gathering. There was a wedding in one of the villages and this caused the virus spread,” Gamkrelidze said.
