Snow, strong winds, and sea storms expected in Georgia from February 23-25
Snow is expected again in Western Georgia from February 23-25, with heavy snowfall in some areas, the National Environmental Agency reported.
Forecasters predict strong to very strong winds in coastal areas, with a 4-6-point storm at sea. Air temperatures may drop to -4 to -6 degrees Celsius at night on the Kolkheti Plain.
Fog, blizzards, and avalanche risks are expected in some mountainous and highland regions, along with road icing and potential power line freezing.
Due to heavy snowfall, poor visibility, blizzards, road icing, and avalanche risks, traffic may be restricted on certain roads.
Low temperatures could damage citrus crops, especially lemons, on the Kolkheti Plain.
