The National Environmental Agency (NEA) has issued the weather forecast for Georgia from January 24th to 26th.

According to experts, rain is expected across the country on January 24th and 25th, with dry conditions returning from 26th onwards.

In Tbilisi, predominantly clear skies are forecast. Night-time temperatures will range from -2°C to 0°C, while daytime temperatures will reach between +7°C and +9°C.

The coastal regions, Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti, are expected to experience rain on January 24 and 25, with clear weather anticipated on 26. Night-time temperatures will be between +6°C and +8°C, and daytime temperatures will rise to between +14°C and +16°C.

In the lowland areas of Western Georgia, Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, and Ozurgeti, rain is forecast for January 24th and 25th, followed by clear skies on the 26th. Night-time temperatures will be around +4°C to +6°C, with daytime highs of +13°C to +15°C.

The mountainous regions of Western Georgia, Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, and Rikoti Pass, are expected to see precipitation on January 24 and 25, with dry weather returning on the 26th. Night-time temperatures will range from -2°C to +2°C, and daytime temperatures will be between +10°C and +12°C.

In the highland areas of Western Georgia, Mestia and Bakhmaro, snow is forecast for January 24th and 25th, with no precipitation expected on the 26th. Night-time temperatures will be around -4°C to -6°C, and daytime temperatures will reach +5°C to +7°C.

In the Kartli region, Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali, some areas may see precipitation on January 24th and 25th, primarily snow, with dry conditions from the 26th. Night-time temperatures will be between -4°C and -6°C, and daytime highs will be +7°C to +9°C.

In Kakheti, Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro, precipitation, mostly snow, is expected on January 24th and 25th, with clear skies returning on the 26th. Night-time temperatures will be around -3°C to -5°C, and daytime temperatures will range from +8°C to +10°C.

The mountainous eastern regions, Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Pasanauri, are forecast to see snow on January 24th and 25th, with dry weather from the 26th. Night-time temperatures will be between -5°C and -7°C, and daytime highs will reach +4°C to +6°C.

In the highland eastern areas, Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, and Omalo, snow is expected in some locations on January 25, with no precipitation on the 26th. Night-time temperatures will be between -8°C and -10°C, and daytime temperatures will range from -2°C to +2°C, the National Environmental Agency stated.
