Speaker: Opposition Alliance removed UNM from its logo, but they cannot remove it from their hearts; This is collective UNM
“The Opposition Alliance has removed the National Movement from its logo, but they cannot remove it from their hearts because this is a collective UNM,” said Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
According to Papuashvili, the logo and symbols do not matter.
“Who is not Natsi there: Bokeria, Gvaramia or Japaridze? There were formal leaders of the United National Movement, heads and chairs. They are the National Movement. They spoke about DNA, but their genetic code is UNM. All the rest is a show they stage, saying they represent different parties. They form alliances and they separate, which the Georgian people have seen many times.
I hope the Constitutional Court will put an end to this performance; there, we are arguing precisely that this constitutes a single, unified organism of the National Movement,” he said.
The Opposition Alliance shared a new photo on its Facebook page in which the UNM logo has been removed from its logo.
