Georgian Parliamentary Speaker departs for official visit to Kyrgyzstan

At the invitation of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili has departed on an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the parliament, high-level meetings with representatives of both the legislative and executive branches of the Kyrgyz Republic are scheduled to take place in Bishkek as part of the official visit.

The Georgian parliamentary delegation led by Shalva Papuashvili comprises Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ilia Injia; Chairman of the Procedural Issues Committee and Head of the Georgia–Kyrgyzstan Parliamentary Friendship Group Davit Matikashvili; Deputy Chairman of the Agrarian Issues Committee Davit Sherazadishvili; and Member of Parliament and Friendship Group member Giorgi Chkonia.
