Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) Geka Geladze, alongside First Deputy Lasha Maghradze, presented the new Rector of the State Security Academy, Sophio Abulashvili, to the staff at the working meeting.

Geka Geladze congratulated Sophio Abulashvili on the appointment and wished her success in her future endeavours.

Sophio Abulashvili has many years of experience working in various public institutions, including holding the position of Rector of the Public Security and Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which will further contribute to the Academy’s institutional development and strengthening.

The newly appointed Rector expressed gratitude to the SSSG Head and pledged readiness for result-oriented work. Sophio Abulashvili replaced Malkhaz Chitaia in the position.
