Tbilisi City Hall continues emergency operations as roads are treated and cleared
According to Tbilisi City Hall, the relevant departments of the capital’s administration are operating in emergency mode.
They confirm that roads are being treated with technical salt, and both central and secondary streets are undergoing cleaning.
“Dozens of specialised vehicles and over 150 employees from Tbilservice Group LLC are engaged in the effort. Additionally, representatives from regional administrations are supervising the situation across all ten districts of the city,” the statement reads.
The City Hall urges residents to drive only with winter tyres during heavy precipitation.
“In the event of traffic disruptions, contact the Tbilservice Group hotline at 2 61 90 50 or the Tbilisi City Hall hotline at 2 72 22 22,” the official statement from Tbilisi City Hall reads.
