MP Makhashvili: Parliamentary engagement with Italy and Luxembourg to deepen, next visits and meetings already planned

“We are ready to deepen our parliamentary engagement with Italy and Luxembourg, and the next visits and meetings have already been planned,” said Levan Makhashvili, Chairman of the Parliament’s European Integration Committee.

“During the bilateral meetings, we discussed ongoing developments in Georgia, our plans with the European Union, as well as relations with Russia and the broader region. Our counterparts expressed interest in the current state of Georgia-EU relations—why we are where we are, what solutions we envision, and how they can support resetting ties and advancing Georgia’s European integration. They expressed full readiness to assist the Georgian Parliament in various areas,” Makhashvili told journalists in Hungary.
