GD's Makhashvili urges European governments to mind their business

“Some European governments are detached from their population’s aspirations and are cut off from the new geopolitical reality, which is being created in the world,” said Levan Makhashvili, a member of the Georgian Dream (GD) party.

According to Makhashvili, instead of following their own population’s moods and pulsation, they guide with an “absolutely irrational and absurd agenda.”

“What is taking place in the British government is an excellent demonstration of this. When you are detached from your population, you face a similar crisis sooner or later. Instead of poking hands into Georgia’s domestic affairs and counselling the Georgian government, offering lessons on general values, let them mind their business. Thus, they will bring more good to their country and benefit Georgian-British relations,” he said.
