Georgian and Albanian Parliamentary Committee Chairs discuss bilateral relations and EU integration
Levan Makhashvili, the Chair of the EU Integration Committee, accompanied by the Committee member Giorgi Chakvetadze, was hosted by his Albanian counterpart, Jorida Tabaku.
The parties reviewed the EU membership prospects for the two countries and deliberated on the reforms undertaken in this direction. Levan Makhashvili underscored the significance of sharing Albania’s experiences of the EU approximation. The discourse included bilateral relations, cooperation within NATO and international platforms etc.
The Albanian delegation expressed its willingness to share the best practices of Georgia for reforming. The parties concurred on the augmentation of collaboration and the organization of joint events, including at the regional and international levels.
