Greco-Roman Wrestling: Five Georgians step onto mat as European Championship opens in Tirana #1TVSPORT
The European Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling gets underway today in Tirana, the capital of Albania. On this first day of competition, wrestlers in the 55 kg, 63 kg, 77 kg, 87 kg, and 130 kg weight categories will take to the mat.
Representing Georgia in today’s bouts are Vakhtang Lolua (55 kg), Fridon Abuladze (63 kg), Ramaz Zoidze (77 kg), Lasha Gobadze (87 kg), and Sulkhan Buidze (130 kg).
Preliminary bouts are scheduled to begin at 12:30 Tbilisi time.
