GD's Executive Secretary: PM's decision on Gov't Efficiency Department creation crucial

“The Prime Minister’s decision to create a Government Efficiency Department is one of the most important decisions of recent times,” stated Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream party.

According to Mdinaradze, this will allow the newly created department to monitor the efficiency of implementing decisions by ministries, legal entities of public law (LEPLs), non-profit legal entities (N(N)LEs), and various branches of the executive government.

“Despite numerous reforms carried out in this area over the past year, we believe that even stricter control should be imposed on the spending of taxpayers’ funds, or budget funds,” stated Mdinaradze.
