Guram Dumbadze appointed to Head Government Efficiency Department

Guram Dumbadze has been appointed head of Georgia’s Government Efficiency Department, the Georgian government administration has announced.

According to the administration, before this appointment, Dumbadze headed the government administration’s internal audit service, which formed the basis for the newly created Government Efficiency Department.

“Dumbadze holds higher education qualifications in business management, specialising in finance, banking and insurance. He has extensive experience working in public service.

At various times, he worked in the property management division of the Adjara Autonomous Republic’s Ministry of Finance, and for 11 years held different positions at the State Audit Service – from assistant auditor to chief auditor,” the administration stated.
