Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili said, “The U.S. intelligence test is infallible – everyone involved in this campaign of falsely labeling people as pro-Russian is either a funded agent or a useful idiot.”

In a statement posted on social media, Papuashvili referenced a video featuring opposition figure Koba Khabazi speaking about Bidzina Ivanishvili, the ruling party’s founder.

“This member of the ‘UNM’s travelling circus,’ who feels he completed his mission on the Ukrainian front and now has time for the Georgian cause, is speaking about Bidzina Ivanishvili,” Papuashvili wrote. “The U.S. intelligence test is infallible – everyone involved in this campaign of falsely labelling people as pro-Russian is either a funded agent or a useful idiot.”
