Speaker departs for Slovakia on official visit

Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, has departed for an official visit to the capital of the Slovak Republic, Bratislava, the Parliament reported.

During the visit, Papuashvili is scheduled to meet with the Speaker of the Slovak Parliament. Following the meeting, the two sides will make a joint press statement for the media.

The parliamentary delegation, led by Papuashvili, includes Deputy Speaker Ilia Injia, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee Mariam Lashkhi, and Deputy Chair of the Georgian Dream parliamentary faction Rima Beradze.
