President Kavelashvili expresses condolences over passing of Nikoloz Lekishvili

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has expressed condolences over the passing of Nikoloz Lekishvili.

In his message, Kavelashvili offered sympathies to Lekishvili’s family, friends, and relatives, stating:

“I express my heartfelt condolences over the passing of Nikoloz Lekishvili, the former mayor of Tbilisi, a three-term member of parliament, and an honorary citizen of the capital. Mr. Niko was also a signatory of the Act of Restoration of Georgia’s State Independence. My thoughts are with the family, friends, and loved ones of this distinguished Georgian.”
