Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili paid tribute to the memory of those who died in World War II on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of May 9, Victory Day over Fascism.

“Congratulations on May 9, Victory Day. I paid tribute to the memory of those who died in World War II on the occasion of the 81st anniversary at the Veterans Park.

I visited the Culture and Recreation Park of Veterans alongside Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and representatives of legislative and executive government,” he wrote in his Facebook post.
