Georgian President meets Chinese Ambassador

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili met Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Zhou Qian.

According to the Presidential Administration, during the meeting, the President and Ambassador accentuated the positive dynamics of the Georgia-China strategic partnership and bilateral relations, as well as prolific cooperation in trade, economic, tourism, cultural, sports, and educational spheres.

President Mikheil Kavelashvili stressed the significance of cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative and the development of the Middle Corridor. He remarked that Georgia was ready to contribute to the Middle Corridor development, its security and effective operation.

The sides reiterated unwavering support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia and China.
