PM meets Georgia’s newly appointed Ambassadors to Slovenia and Vatican

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Slovenia and the Vatican, the Government Administration reported.

Konstantine Surguladze has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Slovenia, while David Mekvabishvili has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Holy See.

During the meeting held at the Government Administration, the Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated the diplomats on the start of their missions and wished them every success.

Konstantine Surguladze, Ambassador to the Republic of Slovenia, previously served as the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Affairs and, at various times, held ambassadorial posts in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Italian Republic.

David Mekvabishvili, Ambassador to the Holy See, has worked at different times in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and at the Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta of St. John of Jerusalem, Rhodes and Malta in Georgia.
