Kobakhidze: Massive rise in business turnover is logical outcome of rapid economic growth, with four-month average of 8.3 per cent
“We are maintaining a rapid pace of economic growth. The average figure for the first four months stands at 8.3 per cent, and the massive rise in business sector turnover is a logical outcome of this,” the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, told reporters.
As the Head of Government noted, continued economic growth will further strengthen the overall economy and lift living standards for the population.
“Our main priority is to maintain this growth rate, which is vital for gradually strengthening our country’s economy and improving public well-being. As you know, economic growth directly impacts various indicators, such as employment rates, average wages, and poverty levels. These are areas where we have seen fundamental improvements over the last five years. Naturally, further expansion of business turnover and the wider economy will ensure both a stronger economic foundation and a better quality of life for our citizens,” the Prime Minister said.
