“All law enforcement agencies have been mobilized to combat crime in our country to the maximum extent,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists, referencing the recent detention of Georgian and foreign nationals in Batumi over the illegal sale and purchase of radioactive uranium.
“In general, all law enforcement agencies have become very active in combating crime, and the results are visible daily. Both the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are working actively. All law enforcement agencies are mobilized to combat crime in our country to the maximum extent, and today’s briefing by the State Security Service is another confirmation of this,” Kobakhidze stated.
