Georgian PM meets UN Resident Coordinator

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Dr. Didier Trebucq, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Georgia.

According to the government’s press office, the meeting focused on the long-standing and fruitful partnership between the Government of Georgia and the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator.

“Ongoing programs and prospects for further deepening cooperation in various areas were discussed.

The important role of the United Nations in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and supporting socio-economic development was highlighted.

Prime Minister of Georgia expressed his gratitude to Dr. Trebucq for the UN’s significant efforts in protecting the rights of conflict-affected populations in Georgia,” reads the statement.
