PM: Discussed strong cooperation and over $5 billion ADB engagement across key sectors

“We discussed our strong cooperation and ADB’s engagement across key sectors of our economy,” Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze posted on social platform X after the meeting with the President of Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda.

As the Prime Minister highlights, the opening of a new Asian Development Bank office in Tbilisi will further enhance the partnership and open up new avenues for investment and development.

“I am pleased to host the Asian Development Bank’s President, Masato Kanda, in Georgia. We discussed our strong cooperation and ADB’s engagement across key sectors of our economy, with a portfolio exceeding $5 billion. The opening of ADB’s new representative office in Tbilisi will further deepen our partnership and create new opportunities for investment and development,” Irakli Kobakhidze posted.
