Mikheil Saakashvili: I recognize many things unfair, there will be time to speak about it
“I recognize that many things are unfair; however, due to the significance of the issue, I am intentionally choosing not to respond. There will be a time when I can address it when I am free,” Geogia’s jailed ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili wrote on social media.
“We are witnessing a remarkable struggle and unwavering dedication. A new, modern, and forward-thinking society has emerged before our eyes—one that cannot be defeated. I deeply appreciate their strong civic commitment. I recognize that many things are unfair; however, due to the significance of the issue, I am intentionally choosing not to respond. There will be a time when I can address it when I am free. Until then, I stand beside every fighter, for I have laid the foundation of what has united the Georgian people—this idea. The threat of losing it, at the risk of my life, has brought me back to my homeland,” Saakashvili wrote.
