PM - Government’s interest is objective investigation to answer all questions in shortest time

Special services carried out several special operations and each of them was aimed at preventing terrorist threats, – Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said at the governmental session today.

“Terrorism is a challenge for the whole world and our state is doing everything to prevent this threat. Of course, when you face this challenge in your own country and when the issue concerns your citizens, the issue is very sensitive. Our special services carried out several special operations and each of them was aimed at preventing terrorist threats. One of the members of our special services was killed and four were wounded in these operations. These guys defended the safety of our citizens at the expense of their own lives. I would like to state that the government’s primary interest is the objective and effective investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office to answer all the questions in the society in the shortest possible time. Today, making preliminary statements or preliminary conclusions in this situation damage the state interests” – Prime Minister said.
