Georgia’s Minister of Environment and Agriculture, Davit Songulashvili, will participate in the UN Conference on Conservation and Sustainable Use of the Oceans, Seas, and Marine Resources for Sustainable Development, held in Nice, France, the ministry reports.
The conference will gather leaders from over 100 countries, along with environment ministers and other high-ranking officials.
Key topics include reducing marine pollution, restoring marine ecosystems, and protecting biodiversity. Special focus will be given to the impact of climate change on the marine environment and coordinated global responses to address this challenge.
