Economy Minister: At UN Conference, PM spoke about Georgia's role, major projects that contribute to increasing our country's connectivity

“At the UN Conference, Irakli Kobakhidze spoke about Georgia’s role and major projects that contribute to increasing our country’s connectivity,” said Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili from Turkmenistan, where she is accompanying Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to Kvrivishvili’s assessment, the Georgian Prime Minister’s visit and the mentioned event will be another new, important platform for strengthening trade and economic relations between countries.

“Georgia’s Prime Minister made an important speech where he talked about Georgia’s role, including in the Middle Corridor, and about those most significant, largest projects that contribute to increasing our country’s connectivity with strategically important countries, strengthening Georgia’s positioning in the Middle Corridor. Among them, the Anaklia deep-sea port, highway construction, the new international airport in Vaziani, as well as other most important projects,” Mariam Kvrivishvili noted.

She noted that “a very important” meetings took place within the framework of the visit, and Georgia’s Prime Minister, together with leaders of friendly countries, discussed a new roadmap that will connect the two countries and nations in trade and economic directions.
