Economy Minister meets representatives of energy companies

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili met with representatives of energy companies operating in Georgia.

During the meeting, the Minister provided a detailed overview of the current situation in the country’s energy sector, as well as the reforms and decisions being implemented by the government to further develop the sector.

Mariam Kvrivishvili emphasized that the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia remains open to dialogue with the business community, including stakeholders in the energy sector, and is ready to offer support on all strategic issues.

She also informed representatives of the energy sector about the government’s initiative to establish an Economic Development Bank, noting that energy will be one of the priority areas for the future financial institution.

It was highlighted at the meeting that active communication between the Ministry and the business sector will continue going forward.
