Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health, claims that based in preliminary information, the 29-year-old man, who died in the quarantine space in Telavi city, has not made an application on participation in Methadone Program

“Probing into the matter is ongoing and medical expertise on the corpse is underway. The conclusion will become later,” Gamkrelidze said.

A 29-year-old man died at a hotel arranged as the quarantine space due to COVID-19 pandemic in Telavi city of eastern Kakheti region of Georgia. The man, born in 1991, returned from France on September 24.
