Levan Khabeishvili, the Chair of the opposition United National Movement party, and Zurab Chiaberashvili, the Secretary of the party’s international direction, are visiting the USA.
The visit includes attendance at the International Democrat Union (IDU) forum in Washington on December 4-7. Tina Bokuchava, the chair of the UNM parliamentary faction, and Irakli Kavtaradze, the head of the party’s international department, are also participating.
Khabeishvili will hold meetings with the IDU Chairman Stephen Harper. The UNM leaders will also meet with Georgian emigrants in New York on December 8.
