UNM’s Pavlenishvili: Ukraine–Georgia ties depend on resolving three major issues

The member of the opposition party Irakli Pavlenishvili from the United National Movement said that Ukraine has a “specific agenda” and outlined three key issues, which he believes must be resolved for the normalization of Ukraine–Georgia relations.

“There are three key issues that need to be addressed for relations to improve. First, the anti-Ukrainian campaign and hysteria from Georgia must cease; this has been evident both before the elections and in daily occurrences. Second, Mikheil Saakashvili should be granted freedom, as he is also a member of Zelensky’s government. Third, a humanitarian issue related to Lars needs to be resolved. If these three issues are not addressed, relations will remain strained,” Pavlenishvili said.
