“I condemn the attempted attack in Washington in the strongest terms,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze wrote on the social network X.

According to the Prime Minister, he is relieved that U.S. President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and all attendees are safe.

“Condemning the attempted attack in Washington in the strongest terms. Thankful that the President, First Lady and everyone present are safe,” Kobakhidze wrote.

A shooting occurred during a White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at a Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., attended by U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
