U.S. President Donald Trump will present a 21% cut in foreign aid, Reuters reports. Herein, Trump plans to slash social programs too.

Overall, foreign aid budget will decrease from $55.7 to $44.1 billion in the upcoming fiscal year.

Aid to Ukraine from 2020 budget will not change. As for cyber-security efforts, the budget envisages $1.1 billion for it.

Reuters says, U.S. President will request an increase in funding for the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to $700 million for an effort to combat developing economic threats from China and Russia.

In the fiscal-year 2020 budget $2 billion is allocated for the wall construction along the U.S. border with Mexico.

The budget proposal will be published today.
