According to the National Environmental Agency, from the second half of August 8 through August 11, Georgia will experience thunderstorms amid high temperatures, with heavy rainfall in some areas, strong westerly winds, and possible hail.

Meteorologists report that 3-4 point storm surges are expected at sea.

“The anticipated precipitation may cause flash floods on Georgia’s smaller rivers, while landslides and debris flows may occur or intensify in hilly and mountainous regions. The threat level is moderate,” the National Environmental Agency stated.
