National Environmental Agency: Rain and storms in Western Georgia until September 21 afternoon
According to weather forecasts, rain will continue across Western Georgia until the afternoon of September 21, with some areas experiencing heavy showers, thunderstorms, hail, and strengthening winds. Sea conditions may also see storms of up to 4–6 points.
“The anticipated precipitation could lead to a significant rise in water levels in rivers of Western Georgia, flash floods in smaller watercourses, and the activation of landslide and sandstorm processes in hilly and mountainous regions (high danger level),” the National Environmental Agency stated.
