Speaker: Gov't aims at improving public welfare, maintaining stability amid geopolitical turbulence

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili emphasized the government’s commitment to national interests and economic development, highlighting a significant investment package secured during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Abu Dhabi.

Papuashvili underscored Georgia’s leading position in economic growth, despite what he characterized as external challenges, including visits from Baltic Foreign Ministers and German parliamentarians that he claimed were aimed at creating domestic unrest.

“We will maintain this pace,” Papuashvili declared, outlining two key priorities: improving public welfare and maintaining stability amid geopolitical turbulence. He emphasized that these goals are intrinsically linked to Georgia’s primary objective of territorial integrity restoration.

The Parliament Speaker firmly stated that Georgia would not deviate from its chosen course, regardless of external pressure or threats of sanctions.
