“The entire society was watching the work of the investigation commission, which was open and public, broadcast live, and everyone heard once again the crimes committed by Saakashvili’s regime,” Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili stated.

According to him, “everyone once again heard the crimes that the National Movement continued to commit even after transitioning to opposition, as an ideological wing.”

“We saw and heard all of this. All the evidence emerged as well. I know that the investigation commission is preparing a quite voluminous document. So we are awaiting the final document, which parliament will then discuss at a plenary session in September. In September, parliament will have the opportunity to review the entire document, deliberate on it, and draw appropriate conclusions,” Papuashvili declared.

The concluding session of Georgia’s Parliament temporary investigation commission is scheduled for August 4.
